Seacoast United Maine will be hosting two weeks of Finishing & Keepers’ Academy, aimed at fine-tuning these specialist positions. SUSC-ME’s Director of Goalkeeping Martyn Keen will run the keepers through their paces, working on shot-stopping techniques, positioning, footwork, dealing with crosses, anticipation, and many more topics. The strikers will be challenged by SUSC-ME coaching directors on the importance of a 1-touch finish, quick shooting, instep and laces techniques, volleys, headers, scoring from crosses, and much more. We will offer a morning session for the younger players, and an afternoon session for the older players. Tuition includes a Nike soccer ball and t-shirt.
