Goalkeeper Training

Seacoast United Maine Director of Goalkeeping Martyn keen has been successful in developing many top class keepers in both high school and colleges.  He has sent 8 to play at NCAA Division I schools, including programs such as Duke, Virginia, Boston College, and Stanford as well as many smaller Division II and III schools.

This 24-week program (see Director’s Night) will progress through all of the major goalkeeping components.  The emphasis will be on shot handling, lateral, forward, and backward movement, correct saving techniques, decision making, distribution, and goalkeeper fitness.  Each component has many parts and each will be covered in depth.
