Tryouts: SUSC-Maine Jr. Academy - Augusta
2010/2011 Tryouts
Date: Tuesday, September 28th and Wednesday, October 6th
Place: The Armory, Augusta, ME
Time: 5-6:30pm (boys & girls)
Additional Tryout Date Announced: Tuesday, October 26th 5-6:30pm
The Junior Academy Program begins in November and runs for 24 weeks.
Tryout Registration
Players looking to attend tryouts must pre-register online. Online tryout registration for Junior Academy Augusta is now closed. For players looking to join the SUSC-Maine Jr. Academy, please contact Jim Wade at 207-729-8444 to be evaluated during one of our existing Jr. Academy training sessions!
Junior Academy tryouts are $15 and open to all appropriately motivated players age 7-11. Each player will receive a Seacoast United Maine t-shirt. There will be a parent information session prior to the start of each tryout. Please have your son or daughter bring an inflated soccer ball and water with them. Players are encouraged to attend both dates but it is ok if they are able to attend only one of the dates due to conflicts. Players must be between the ages of 7-11 years old at the time of tryouts in order to be eligible and they need to try out with the appropriate age group.
Please be sure to give your child some space to be independent during the tryouts. They will surely have a good time as the staff does a great job creating a stress-free and enjoyable environment.
Notification
After tryouts, all players will receive an email informing them that they have either been selected for one of the Academy Training Groups or that they are better placed with SUSC Maine’s Early Development Program at that time. Please do not call or email to inquire about selections/placements until at least 1 week after the tryouts have taken place.
