Ashley Durepo, Seacoast United Maine Director of Lacrosse
Ashley is in her 4th year coaching for the Seacoast United Lacrosse Club. She is also the assistant coach for the University of Southern Maine Women’s Lacrosse team. Ashley graduated in 2009 from the University of New Hampshire as a midfielder for the Division I Wildcats. For the Wildcats, she received America East All-Academic Team, America East All-Conference 2nd Team, America East All-Rookie Team, and America East Player of the Week honors. A native of Concord, NH and a 2005 graduate of Concord High School, Ashley led the girls’ lacrosse team to the NH State Championships in 2002 and 2005. She was also named to the All-State First Team in 2005 and 2003, as well as the Upper New England Team in 2003.
John Brubaker
John Brubaker is the head lacrosse coach at Kents Hill School and brings with him 16 years experience primarily at the collegiate level. In 2008, Brubaker’s Kents Hill team advanced to the semi-finals of the New England Prep School Tournament and were finalists in the highly competitive MAISAD conference. Prior to coaching at the prep level, Brubaker guided St. Andrew’s College lacrosse program from 2001-2004 leading them to unparalleled success producing an NCAA Final Four appearance and Top-10 National Rankings each year. Prior to becoming the Knights’ head coach, Brubaker was the head lacrosse coach and assistant football coach at Maine Maritime Academy. A four-year letterman and 1992 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology he also earned a Master’s Degree in personnel psychology from FDU in 1993. Brubaker has completed his doctoral level coursework in Sport Psychology at Temple University. A three-time Coach of the Year, Brubaker has coached nine All-Americans and had seven of his players drafted to play professionally. He has been a featured speaker at the US Lacrosse National Convention and has also performed televised instructional pieces for Coaches Effectiveness as well as Player-Coach Communication.
