Jay Dane - Director of Youth Programs and Camps

Jay is responsible for the development of all the U7-U11 players at the club and has designed and implemented the technical program for these age groups. Jay also is responsible for the club’s summer and holiday camps/clinics, including our 4 vs 4 street soccer Jamboree. Born and raised in London England, Jay played throughout his hig school years and later went onto represent Middlesex County as a player. He then went onto play for the University of Derby 1st team, and was captain of the team in his senior year. Jay started his coaching career whilst at University, working for the Derbyshire F.A’s grassroots program. After college Jay spent time coaching in London, and eventually went back to Derby where he worked for Derby County FC, who were then part of the English Premier League. Jay coached in their Academy program, and ran some specialized programs for the club and the local community.

Since 2006, Jay has worked as a staff coach, coaching U13 Boys and Girls teams at the club, as well as the U18 boys team, who were ranked as high as 4th in the nation under his guidance. Upon a recent trip to England, Jay spent time working with current EPL club Birmingham City FC, shadowing the U18 coach and reserve team coaches. He also worked with a number of youth internationals at the club.

Jay has part one of his UEFA B license.
