Girls' Coaches
| Michael Bolanz |

Michael is a 2000 graduate of St. Joseph’s College of Maine. In his four years playing goalkeeper for the Monks, he was named to three All-Conference first teams, two All-Regional and All-State teams, and also received NCAA All-American nominations. On November 8th, 2008, Mike was inducted into the Saint Joseph’s College Athletic Hall of Fame. The first SJC Men’s Soccer player to receive such an honor, Michael still holds the program record for career saves (592).
In 2004, Michael took over the head coaching position of the Saint Joseph’s College Women’s soccer program after having served as an assistant for a year. He led his team to an impressive 11-7-1 record and a New England Cup Championship. The team’s turnaround was ranked among the top 20 for NCAA Division III teams. For his efforts and in only his first year as head coach, Bolanz was named the Association of Division III Independents Coach of the Year. He followed with another North East Regional Independent Championship and another DIII Independents Coach of the Year award in his 2nd year. Currently coach Bolanz is the winningest soccer coach in SJC history and has a career winning percentage close to .700.
Coach Bolanz is a USSF "C" Licensed coach as well as receiving a Distinguished Pass for his NSCAA National Diploma. He also has a NSCAA Regional Goalkeeping Certificate. In addition to his coaching the Monks, Michael lives in Gorham, ME with his wife Jillian.

Megan had completed her USSF "D" license this past summer and is excited to be joining Seacoast United Maine working with the U11 teams. She grew up in Vermont and played for two seasons at Gordon College in Wenham, MA. She continues to play recreation soccer, holds her state referee license, and prior to coming on board with Seacoast, coached for Maine Metro F.C. with Josh Needle. Megan coaches a travel team for Scarborough and has done so for the last few years.

| Paul Cameron |

Paul has been coaching soccer in the US since 2001, working full time with youth players of all ages (U5-U21), and abilities (Recreational to Premier level & College). Born in Liverpool and raised in South London, Paul played youth soccer in England and played at several Amateur clubs in London before signing as a semi-pro for Tooting and Mitcham at the age of 19. He played there for three years before joining Notre Dame FC where he won various trophies including the London FA Senior Cup, and made over 200 appearances in 5 seasons, at left back or center back.
He has been Trainer/Coach and Coaching Advisor at the Soccer Club of New Milford (CT) (2001-06), Boys Varsity Coach at New Milford (CT) High School (2003-06), Major League Soccer Camps Academy facilitator and coaching assessor (2005-07). Paul has been with Coastal SC/Seacoast United ME since 2006 winning 3 State Cups in 2 years and coming runners up twice. Paul’s U14 girls were semi finalists at the Needham Memorial Day tournament and Coastal Summer Challenge winners. Paul also served as an assistant at Bates college with the men’s team in 2007.
Coach Cameron holds the English Football Association Leaders Award, and Prelim badge (Level 2 equivalent) and the NSCAA National Diploma and Advanced National Diploma.
As a Fitness Trainer and Coach, he holds the NVQ’s (National Vocational Qualifications): Level 2 in Facility Operations; and Coaching and Activity Delivery for Adults. He has also won the YMCA Fitness Training Award. Prior to coming to the United States, he was a Club Fitness Manager, Group Fitness Trainer and Personal Trainer in the UK.

Su enters her second season coaching for Seacoast United Maine. She is a current student at Colby College (class of ’11) where she earned All-NESCAC 2nd Team honors for her play on defense in 2008. Su is a native of Parsippany, NJ and is a double-major in Government and Classics. She is also a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC).
During her high school years, she attended the Peddie School (NJ) and earned Star Ledger First-Team All-Prep from 2004-2006.

| Lenny Hurrell |

Former Odyssey coach and successful buisnessman, Lenny Hurrell will work as our Registrar and and Operations Manager. He has coached at several different levels of play, from youth through college programs. Lenny coached for Odyssey Sport '97 beginning in 2005 and served 2 years as an assistant and 4 years as head coach of girls' teams U11-U14. Lenny was the JV Girls' Coach at Thornton Academy from 2005 to 2008. In the fall of 2009, he was assistant women's coach at the University of New England. Currently, he assists the men's team at the University of Southern Maine.
During his collegiate days, Lenny played for four years at the University of Southern Maine. He holds the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and a USSF "A" License.

| Josh Needle |

Josh is from the Albany, NY area and has played soccer for most of his life at various levels. He played his college soccer at the State University of New York at Potsdam which is part of the SUNYAC conference.
Josh’s coaching career began in the fall of 2002 when he assisted the boys U12 travel team for the Scarborough travel program. In the fall of 2003 he began coaching the Scarborough 7th grade girls team which posted a 14-1 record and the year after, his 8th grade team posted another 14-1 record. The following year Josh began coaching high school soccer as the Freshman Head Coach and the Varsity assistant for the next 3 years. He began coaching premier soccer soon after in the spring of ’03 when he was one of the U12 Girls’ coaches at Maine Metro FC. Josh continued to coach the Maine Metro U12 girls the following year and stayed with that team through their U17 year. Josh has been the 1992 boys Olympic Development assistant and is currently the 1998 coach. He was the director of player development for the Maine Metro FC developmental academy for 3 years. His teams have been state finalists 5 times and semi-finalists once. His U12 Seacoast United team won the Maine State Championship in June of 2011 over Blackbear United. They competed at Regionals posting a 1-2 record.
Josh is currently coaching the Seacoast United Maine U13 girls for the 2011/12 season and is the director of the Gorham Seacoast United Jr. Academy as well as the Footskills program coordinator.
Josh has taken his premier teams to tournaments in Needham (MA), Oakwood and Glastonbury (CT), Philadelphia (PA), Virginia Beach (VA), Cape Cod (MA), Hershey PA (Regionals), the Holland Cup in Holland, and Germany. He was recently awarded his USSF "A" license, which is the highest license the US Soccer Federation offers. Josh has been a 5th grade school teacher at Wentworth Intermediate School in Scarborough, Maine for the last 10 years. He lives in Scarborough with his wife Shelly and their 7-year old son Nathan.
