Soccer Wednesdays return with five free clinics in the month of July, at Shulman Field in Brunswick, 5:30-7.  Soccer Wednesdays clinics for younger players, boys and girls, ages 5 through 14, that stress fun technical topics with headlining college and high school coaches, always ending with small sided games.
 
Any players are welcome, as are area coaches that would like to assist coach the headlining coaches.  Soccer Wednesdays are a joint venture from Seacoast United Maine, Brunswick Youth Soccer League, Merrymeeting Soccer Club, Clippers Soccer Club, and Freeport Football Club.
 
The series opens this Wednesday July 1 with “A Taste of English Football”, with Girls Director Paul Cameron from Seacoast United Maine.  Coach Cameron played semi professional soccer in England at Dulwich Hamlet.
 
Following clinics will feature Colby Night on July 29, and a return visit from SoccerMaine Director Andy Biggs in mid July.
 
Players are asked to bring a ball, water, shinguards, and cleats or turfs.
