“Soccer fitness” is different to general fitness. It involves aspects that are specific to the game.
This 24-week program is split into three 8-week sessions and each week will include work on a variety of topics. The main themes will include; Speed training, Acceleration, Agility, Balance, Explosive Power, and Muscular Endurance & Flexibility. Each of these components is crucial to complete soccer fitness and each will be covered in depth.
This program is only open to the U12 - U18 age groups and players will be split into 2 groups of U12-U14 and U15-U18.

Martyn Keen:
As an exercise physiologist, coach Keen has developed many fitness programs relating to many sports especially soccer.
Paul Cameron:
As a personal trainer in England before coming to the US, coach Cameron worked with many clients on general fitness as well as sports specific training programs, with a particular interest in Soccer.
Days:
Tuesdays 7 - 8pm
Fridays 5 - 6pm
Cost (One session per week for 8 weeks):
SUSC Maine players: $55
Non-SUSC Maine Players: $85
Spaces in classes will be limited to a first come first served basis and the first session starts on November 2nd.
