SUSC Maine College Recruiting Symposium for U15 - U17 Girls
Maren Rojas to host symposium at Bowdoin College

Tuesday 9th February, Bowdoin College in Cleveland 151 at 7pm, Maren Rojas spoke and showed a powerpoint presentation on the college recruiting process for female soccer players.

Over 50 SUSC ME players and parents attended as did several Non-SUSC players and parents.

The presentation took about 30 - 40 minutes and was followed by a Q & A session with coach Rojas and a few current Bowdoin players, who also gave their insight on the recruiting process from a players perspective.

Coach Rojas provided some sample letter’s/emails and other literature to help High School age players when going about the process of contacting coaches at colleges they are interested in attending and playing at.

"This was a very informative presentation from Maren which provided a great insight into the college recruiting process for players and their parents. I think everyone that attended got a lot out of it, because I think it can be a daunting process. Maren cleared up some of the myths and helped provide some direction and ideas for how to go about things. On behalf of SUSC ME I would like to thank Maren for helping me put this opportunity for our players together." said Girls Director Paul Cameron.

Look out for further news of a Boys symposium coming soon...
