On Friday, April 23rd at 5pm at the Dome in Topsham, ME, Seacoast United Maine hosted its 1st ever 24-hour Soccerthon. SUSC players from Junior Academy to U18, as well as alumni, parents and adults who play in our recreation leagues, played for a combined total of 24 hours, concluding at 5pm on Saturday, April 24th.
Pledge forms & donations are now due (as of May 17th) & can be turned in at the Dome in Topsham, Maine. Thank you to all who participated and to those who donated to this successful event!
The goal for this year’s program is to help begin the development of an indoor and outdoor facility in the Freeport, ME area. The Club hopes to have a Purchase & Sale agreement by the end of April. In addition, Seacoast United and Seacoast United Maine have pledged $5000 to help support (NIKE)RED and the fight against AIDS in Africa, particularly saving children’s lives. Our goal is to raise $50,000. To date, the Club has raised over $5,000 with the majority of players yet to turn in pledges.
